The De-evolution of Staffing!!

It was an era of staffing where post and pray became the norm. There were a large group of “staffing professionals” who only knew how to post jobs, and hope they get what they want. As you can imagine this gave hiring managers (HM) a bad name as these people rarely could give HM’s what wanted which made them frustrated with their current service providers.

Then came the next iteration in 2017: throw-and-pray! This is when companies would grab every resume from job boards, threw it up into air hoping one would stick or praying someone will work out for them; but instead did nothing more than just throwing darts at resumes until something stuck

Now comes the spam and pray. This is where “staffing professionals” grab large amounts of people who show they have buzz words, then spam email them all, saying the same thing that never connects with what a job seeker really wants or needs. Example just this last week I got 200 emails about Oracle DBA jobs when my profile only mentioned having source for those looking to hire an Oracle DBAs but not being one myself; it’s correlation to social media sites like Linkedin and other similar boards which are often spammed by these “professionals”.

Why has the staffing industry become a shady place? Well, it’s pretty simple actually! The staffing managers. They see this as an opportunity to hire cheap labor and save money by not training them for any real profession. All they do is post or pray that their clients will get good results from these undertrained workers who can’t really perform at all in some cases because of poor marketing skills on behalf of the staffers themselves. In fact, many times companies are hiring people with no experience whatsoever without realizing just how bad such inexperience could be; there goes another customer base gone down the drain because someone was too lazy to train them well enough before assigning tasks out!

So why would you trust your most sensitive projects (or even “meat

Now while this may work now as there are a lot more people looking than jobs, the reality is that it will change. The problem with these so-called “staffing professionals” and managers they have been working for all of this time is if when it changes, then not only do they lose their job but also any sense of self worth or dignity because what was once considered to be an esteemed profession has quickly become nothing short of a meat market.
